X Files Civil Rights Lawsuit Against Media Matters
Protecting the People
What does the term “civil rights” mean to you? Images of Martin Luther King Jr. speaking to crowds at the Lincoln Memorial or Vietnam war protesters on the courthouse steps often come to mind. But our civil rights include a broad range of rights we often don’t think much about that dissolve if we don’t protect them. Freedom of Speech. Freedom of Religion. Freedom of Assembly. The Right to Bear Arms. Protection against Unreasonable Search and Seizure. Due Process of Law. Anti-Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, and other minority status. Protections against cruel and unusual punishment and the rights of incarcerated persons. The right to open access to government records. These are all “civil rights.” In Nevada, these rights are even broader under our State Constitution in some instances than under the United States Constitution.

Top 100 Las Vegas Attorneys
A message from Nevada Civil Rights.com founder, attorney Adam J. Breeden:
The first attorney who ever hired me told me “be a friend to the friendless and the voice of the common man and you’ll go far in this business.” I’ve never forgotten that advice and I bring that attitude to my law firm and Nevada Civil Rights.com every day.
To tell you a little more about me, I’ve practiced law here in Clark County for almost twenty years. I graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University, studied legal theory abroad at Oxford University, England, attended a top tier law school where I was awarded a full scholarship and externed for a US District Court Judge. During my legal career in Clark County, I have helped countless individuals who were innocent victims.
